A property with a garden that had been neglected.
Originally it had been constructed as an informal garden, with a rockery and pond on a higher level to the remainder of the garden. Over time more and more paving had been added to reduce the maintenance of the garden.
On completion of the new garden the higher level of the garden was retained with a low stone wall. The sunny seating area was rebuilt on the higher level and planting borders were created around a new lawn.
An old run down garden needing urgent attention.
The access to the bottom garage was used on a daily basis, in all weathers. However, this was used as a children’s play area, so needed to remain as open as possible.
A feature path leads to the garage door, passing below a semi-circular pergola which will eventually be covered in the chosen climbers. The garden still has the unrestricted space for the children to play, but now has plenty of interest.
